Kids were kept off school playgrounds Monday and some commuters changed their routes as police searched for a suspect in 20 random shootings that have mostly damaged vehicles on busy roads across four Michigan counties.

Tornado strikes West Coast town, New Zealand

A small tornado hit the northern West Coast town of Hector overnight, knocking over an old theatre, lifting roofs and cutting the electricity supply.
